Among the benefits of having a sound strategy to reach digital sovereignty in your organization is the fact of having IT application management skills available within the organization. This allows greater flexibility and lower costs when you want to adapt the software to your business scenario.

To this end we have designed the Nextcloud Administrator Training.

The goal of the course is to provide the necessary knowledge for the technical administration of the Nextcloud Hub platform.

More in detail, the participants will get the following skills:

  • Take technical decisions on the architecture and installation of Nextcloud Hub for its best-performance production deployment.
  • Upgrade the application, while minimizing the service downtime.
  • Understand and address the risk of performing major application management operations.
  • Design and configure the most important aspects of application administration, like security monitoring, performance monitoring, logging and backup.
  • Perform maintenance operations from the graphical interface as well as the command line, via scripting.
  • Obtain and analyze system health information, both in a normal execution scenario or in presence of an issue.
  • Manage the plugins that enrich the experience of the final user: Groupware, Office, Talk and others.
  • Ensure the system fits the guidelines, both general and organization, in terms of  security and compliance policy.

Each participant will be assigned an instance in our infrastructure with full administration privileges and SSH access. This instance will allow the participants to complete the exercises, apply a hands-on learning methodology, and proactively follow the class.

The training program will be outlined together with the customer and the training material delivered to the customer.
